The 2004 Boston Red Sox World Series Commissioner’s Trophy sold for $165,000 at a sale of Larry Lucchino Red Sox Memorabilia held December 4th by Bonhams Skinner in Boston. Also, a 2004 Boston Red Sox World Series championship ring changed hands for $100,000; the third base used in the 2004 World Series to clinch Game 4 found a new owner for $70,000; and a pair of Fenway Park in Boston grandstand seats, installed in 1934, went to a determined bidder for $22,000.
